i’m a post-doctoral research fellow at the Princeton AI Lab, working with Jonathan Cohen and Tom Griffiths.

i did my phd in informatics at the University of Edinburgh, supervised by Kenny Smith and Ivan Titov.

my research sits at the intersection of machine learning, cognitive science, and linguistics. i’m interested in how structure emerges in learned representations — in language models, between communicating agents, and in the brain.

i also spent time at Cohere, working on large language models.
